How would you describe yourself?
Crazy dog lady turned luxury dog bedding designer, and award-winning accidental entrepreneur.
Tell us a bit more about youโฆ
Former successful city marketing career girl who ran the Mayor of Londonโs marketing, events and sponsorship team in the run up to London 2012 but swapped the 5โ Jimmy Chooโs for wellies and woolly socks and hasnโt looked back since.
Who are your greatest influences?
My work is always inspired my dogs - beautiful and demanding Italian Greyhounds that are actually little aliens that have taken over my world. Theyโre playful but elegant, capable of creating complete chaos with a โbutter wouldnโt meltโ charm.
What have been some of your best jobs/experiences at work and why?
My sister and I set up Charley Chau as a quirky little hobby on the sitting room and nine years later we were named Family Business Entrepreneurs of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards - a huge shock and an incredible honour, especially as I am now one of judges for the awards.
Traditional vs contemporary style?
Both. Beautiful design and impeccable taste never go out of fashion.
What would you consider your greatest achievement?
Designing and creating luxury dog beds that are keeping dogs in uber-comfort in homes in over sixty countries around the world.
What would your superpower be?
To rid the human race of the desire to be cruel whether to fellow humans or the animals that we share the world with.

Acres and acres of land on a rugged coastline to design and build my dream home inspired by the courtyard residences of the hutongs in old Beijing.
