Manchester Beer and Cider Festival

Building on last year’s sell-out tasting sessions, the popular Manchester Beer and Cider Festival will give ale lovers the chance to hear from three of the country’s leading beer experts. Christine Cryne, John Clarke and Sally Lavender will be talking about some of their favourite beer styles, showcasing the breadth of taste and history of real ale in the UK and further afield. There’ll be over 600 ales available to sample along with the unveiling of the inaugural Manchester Brewers’ Challenge.

Chester Food, Drink and Lifestyle Festival

The Chester Food Drink & Lifestyle Festival is the biggest foodie event in the UK, taking place at Chester Racecourse this Easter. Over 150 exhibitors highlight the best cuisine the county, region and country has to offer. There’ll be plenty of tempting treats to taste, dazzling demonstrations and pointers from the pros to perfect your culinary skills.

Northern Vegan Festival, Manchester

As Manchester was recently found to be the UK's number one vegan-friendly city, it seems more people are making the move to a more environmentally-friendly Vegan diet. The Northern Vegan Festival has all the components of a great vegan get-together: lots of food stalls and vendors, talks, free samples, cookery demos, yoga, a café, cinema and plenty of activities for the little ones.

Vegan Life Live, Manchester

Over 150 exhibitors will bring everything from delicious street food to skincare, pet food to fresh bakes. Newbies will be shown all the greatest things about living a plant-based life. Expect both guilty pleasures and comfort food, as well as plenty of cookery demonstrations showing you how to make all the healthiest and easiest vegan meals. There's also a VIP dining area with an exclusive menu, a beer lounge, and a bespoke pop-up cinema.

Congleton Food and Drink Festival

Congleton Food and Drink Festival is a celebration of high quality artisan foods produced locally and from around the world. Throw in live music, street entertainment, a collection of contemporary craft stalls and all manner of kids’ activities to make for a great family day out.

Tatton Foodies Festival

Over 200 artisan producers will take the stage in the Producers’ Market to showcase the very best Cheshire produce. Enjoy wine tasting, afternoon tea, try your hand at shucking oysters, get to grips with beekeeping and perfect your baking skills in the Cake and Desserts Theatre where the winners of the Great British Bake Off will be baking live.

International Cheese Awards, Nantwich

The world’s largest cheese show features entries from all over the globe, showcasing everything from Cheshire to Chevre. The Cheese Marquee contains an impressive 5,000 cheeses from 27 countries.

Enjoy free tasting samples and watch Celebrity Chefs James Martin, Will Holland and Sean Wilson cooking live throughout the day.

Nantwich Food Festival

The Great British Food Festival, Arley Hall
